A simple sizing issue delayed the first all women spacewalk.
Had there been more women astronauts and, as a result, greater consideration for them, this issue would have been entirely preventable. As the space industry continues to grow, it is essential to work to diversify it and avoid issues of gender inequality that have prolifically developed in other industries.
